just call me LEED AP

"What is LEED®?

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality."

AP stands for Accredited Professional:

"LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the integrated design and LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources, and processes."

(quoted from www.usgbc.org)

And as of 11:00 this morning, yours truly is now a LEED AP! I had to take one of those glorious computer based tests at a testing facility--the other two women testing at the same time were taking their boards for medical school--they were in for 2 back-to-back 8-hour testing days. Please Sir, may I have some more? I did not envy them!

So, hooray for a passed test! glad that's over :)
